How You Can Help

The best way you can help us is by writing to the appropriate government agency, organization, or business as described in our Hiker Alerts. We'd like as many hikers as possible to send letters regarding the current issues.
Join us. Your dues let us get more people involved in helping the High Sierra. You also receive periodic newsletters and new Hiker Alerts as issues arise.
Volunteer some of your time or office equipment to help the HSHA. We currently need the following skills:
1. pro bono legal services
2. tax accounting
We currently need the following office equipment:
1. a laser-quality printer
The HSHA is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
